Your host
Born in Paris, I lived and worked there until I was 30 (1994!), but… international marketing for a major cosmetics brand, travel and the crazy life got the better of my energy.
I would never have dared to change life if it hadn’t been for a friend who suggested I should come to catch my breath in Normandy.
A few pencils and blank pages later, I realized my dream of writing in the countryside.
It’s time for me to pass on some of the luck I’ve had at a time when I really needed it.

The project
The starting point has been this large house in the heart of the only part of Pont-l’Évêque spared from the 1944 bombings.
Formerly an antiques store and art gallery, we completely renovated it in 2021 and renamed it La Belle Aventure, after a play by French academician Robert de Flers, born in Pont l’Évêque in 1872. History and future are linked.
